Andrew's photographic experience is extensive; he has covered high school, collegiate and professional sports, weddings, protests and other major events in multiple states. In 2008, Andrew was awarded the Editor's Choice Award from the International Library of Photography for one of his gymnastics photographs.

His work has been featured on CNN's American Morning, Headline News, the Situation Room, the FBI website, in the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons Now, StarTribune.com and has been published in the Roseville Review, the St. Paul Pioneer Press and publications at the Universities of St. Thomas (MN) and Missouri (MO). He has also photographed high-profile persons including Amanda Bynes, Avril Lavigne, Joe Mauer, and Hakkon, the Crown Prince of Norway. In 2007, Andrew freelanced for Newsweek Magazine, was commissioned to produce work to be given to the King and Queen of Norway, and to produce photography for the Boston Red Sox.

Andrew's memberships include the National Press Photographer's Association, Icon Sports Media, the Asian American Journalists Association, the Society of Professional Journalists, SportsShooter.com, College Front Page and the Associated Collegiate Press.
